Principal (Agile Transformation) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities 

• Lead cross-functional and joint teams whose mission is to implement agile approaches in organizations
• Be in charge of directing your team´s work approaches and shaping key observations
• Develop new models to motivate and lead your team
• Interact with key clients to ensure their satisfaction every step of the way and gain their feedback
• Assure a smooth delivery and execution of the organizational transformation
• Plan and execute a schedule for how to deliver the project
• Deliver project outcomes subject to strict time constraints
• Take a hands-on approach to solve your client´s macro and micro problems
• Work along agile coaches to help establish and advance a client´s internal training force
• Educate and mentor clients and coworkers on agile concepts and ways of thinking
• Be assigned to projects that can last anywhere from two to twelve months or more

 

Qualifications 

• 8+ years of consulting and/or industry experience that includes product management, agile development experience, leading agile transformations of functions or departments in a managerial role or overseeing enterprise transformations towards new organizational concepts
• Broad know-how of several approaches, including frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) to engineering practices (test-driven development) and DevOps
• Mentoring and educating clients on different topics, including product management, enterprise culture, agile values and principals and agile leadership behaviors
• Past employment history overseeing multiple aspects of an organization in a technical or non-technical function using agile methods
• Experience overseeing agile transformation and implementing different components (introduction of agile working in teams or implementing agile organizations elements in selected departments)
• Extensive knowledge of specific issues that can occur with introducing agile functions in organizations
• Record of success in leading and implementing large-scale transformation projects including staffing and leadership development
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills
• Postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Mathematics, Physics or a related field from a top-tier university
• Strong academic background
• Excellent people management skills and the ability to quickly win the trust of others
• Team player who is willing to collaborate with other branches and a pleasure to work with
• Willingness to travel
• Intercultural understanding that you have ideally gained while working abroad and/or in diverse teams
• Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial
• Great business acumen
• Creative and analytical thinking
• Ability to solve problems subject to strict time constraints
